myFacebook

It's been almost a week now since i've created myFacebook account, and yet the response and the result was so overwhelming. I feel like i'm having an
"information overload".
Facebook and Friendster have been around for some time, it's not that i am not a friendly person but i feel like it's only for young people and for those seeking companionship and romantic love.

Facebook?, ahhh...perhaps, bird with the same feather, same banana for the old gorilla. Not until i was curious enough to try it, what's the fuzz about it that even Henry Kong of PPCOC is into it, even pleading the rest of the brethren to try and go for it. And they say, the rest is history or so it seems.

It's quite normal to connect with your current friends thru phone, sms, and e_mails. But it's more surprising to find your almost forgotten-friends seems to sprung from out-of-nowhere and got connected to your current friend and even the Facebook categorically recognized them as your common friend. Come on, we're building an army of "Who's who???" here. It's now "same old faces, diet-overloaded." I mean to some, really.

Here, we can exchanged photos as well as messages from simple greetings to serious topic or events in a breeze. There are also a dozen type of applications that you can play around and share with all your contacts. You can even write or post your own messages as if somebody cares enough to pay great attention to it.

In this age of information technology, one need not to be a lone ranger, or still rely in conventional type of out-dated and slow-paced communication. Use it to its fullest and find ways on how it can be an effective tool in evangelism. Christians business is to seek and save the lost...connect with your friends. Connect with other brethren and be encouraged. Let's connect to the world and virtually/spiritually connect with our Creator.
